“I’m really proud to introduce this next artist. Her name has become synonymous with courage and integrity”, said Kris Kristofferson before Sinéad O'Connor's performance at Madison Square Garden. For her uncompromising attitude, the courage to express unpopular opinions and her great musical talent Sinéad O'Connor was/is loved by some and hated by others. In the film, director Kathryn Fergusson portrays a woman repeatedly wronged, battling with her childhood demons, and at the same time an outstanding artist, a heroine of many Irish women fighting for their rights.
