Decasia

"Decasia" is an experimental feature which sets archival footage to an original symphonic score by Michael Gordon. Using nitrate-based master elements with emulsion deterioration, “Decasia” depicts Man’s struggle to transcend his own mortality.

"Decasia" was named to the Library of the US Congress National Film Registry in 2013, becoming the first film to be added the list in the 21st century.
