Ulla Haestrup is an independent consultant working in the Film & Media field with a focus on new talents and often with content for Children and Youth. She works in the development of both fiction, documentary and cross-media universes and also collaborates with festivals and talent development programs within the film industry in Denmark and abroad.
Her background is 16 years at DR (Danish Public Service), working as Programme Buyer and Commissioning Editor for Children and Youth, followed by 5 years as a Documentary Film Commissioner at the Danish Film Institute, up until 2020. In this position her focus has been on how the documentaries can be relevant to the young audience.
