"Girl Gang" director.
A German director, born in 1977. She studied photography and art history at The Courtauld in London and film at the Zurich University of the Arts. Before she found herself in the world of film, she worked in the printed press. Her feature film debut was ‘Raving Iran’, which was a huge festival (also at MDAG) and cinema success. Her ‘Girl Gang’ was also produced by the Swiss filmmaker Christian Frei, known to our festival audience and nominated for an Oscar® for ‘War Photographer’.
