Screening of the film The Pawnshop, dir. Łukasz Kowalski and a meeting with the director and film protagonists
The 19th edition of the Millennium Docs Against Gravity Film Festival – and the 11th held in Wrocław – deserves a grand opening. During the gala, we will present the top attractions and screen one of the most remarkable films from this year's program, The Pawnshop. It is a tragicomic story of an eccentric couple who runs a business in Bytom and a vivid portrait of Polish society. Following the screening, we will talk to the filmmakers, exchange our thoughts over a glass of wine, and probably carry on with the discussion at the festival club Czuła jest Noc.
