A screening of the film Inside the Uffizi, dir. Corinna Belz, Enrique Sánchez Lansch
During this year’s edition of the Museum Night in Wrocław, we will take you to... Florence. When night falls, we will screen a documentary about the legendary Uffizi Gallery – a Medici treasury and one of the oldest museums in the world with 500 rooms and thousands of visitors every day. In the film, we will meet the museum's director Eike Schmidt, his colleagues, the architects, curators and staff, observe the cooperation within the European art world, and immerse ourselves in the paintings of Botticelli and other masters to confront the transience of human existence with the power of art.
