Joe Hunting is a British filmmaker who focuses on directing documentary work in the VRChat app, creating poetic films that blend reality and fiction through joyful, immersive worlds. He released his first award-winning short film 'A Wider Screen' in early 2019 at the age of 19. Then, during the first lockdown, he shot and directed another award-winning eleven-episode documentary series entitled ‘Virtually Speaking’, filmed entirely inside VRChat. In the world of VRChat he met the protagonist of the film, who became his partner in tangible reality as well - they will come to MDAG together.
