Meeting with director Anna Konik following the screening of the film SILENCE HEARD LOUD

Partner:  Arsenal City Gallery

A conversation with Anna Konik, the author of the film and the book Silence Heard Loud. In her works, she explores, among other things, the problems of loneliness and social exclusion. These are conveyed by real people: mentally ill, elderly, homeless, emigrants. Anna Konik develops a relationship with her protagonists based on acceptance and trust. By listening, she enables them to tell their hidden stories. Konik transforms the experience of her own encounters with isolated people into art, which makes the viewer more sensitive to loneliness and the difficulties other people are going through.
